Hundreds of Muslims are meeting Jesus nightly in dreams. Syrian refugees are being loved and given hope. Bible poverty will be stricken from the world by Christmas 2020. And America is discovering the Gospel, again.
Over 500 students flooded our YWAM Kona campus this quarter to be trained as missionaries: they are families, pastors, retirees, fresh out of high school, and college grads - earnestly committed to Jesus, zealous with His desire to reach all nations. Our 30 person Discipleship Training School came from Switzerland, England, Fiji, the Philippines, Finland and all over the US to be prepared and develop Christlike character that will powerfully impact the world around them.
The world is waiting, and it is not hopeless. It's actually full of endless possibilities.
Just before Christmas we will send teams out for three months to Germany, Greece, the Middle East, New York City, and Thailand to help end Bible poverty, minister to Syrian refugees, and bring the revelation of the Messiah to Jews: they will respond as Jesus would to whomever they meet. Our family will join them on the field in the new year to provide pastoral care and connect with our long-term missionary contacts.
We are excited to travel again as a family! Finn is a great flyer, and loves people - he will do so great!
